GDC Director Welcomed as Panelist for “Learn & LinkedIn” Leadership Panel
Hershey and Shippensburg University Co-Host Leadership Panel for Interns

Global Data Consultants, LLC (GDC), a leading IT hardware, managed solutions, and staffing technology provider, had the honor of participating in the “Learn & LinkedIn” Leadership Panel for the Hershey Park Leadership Development Internship Program.
The panel, hosted by Hershey Entertainment & Resorts in collaboration with the Shippensburg University Career Center, featured GDC’s Director of Recruiting, Mel Ramirez.
“I was invited to share my perspective on how to best utilize LinkedIn as a professional resource to assist this group of eager and passionate interns in navigating their careers,” said Ramirez. “Panelists were able to offer tips and tricks on how to leverage the platform to market/brand yourself, research and contact potential employers, and ultimately land the perfect role.”
More than 130 students from 75 different colleges/universities attended the panel. The event, offered as part of Hershey’s internship program, gave students the opportunity to learn from successful professionals and network within various industries.
GDC, a company that values learning and career development, aims to expand its network and influence through these opportunities to find the best talent and ultimately help that talent take the next step in their IT careers.
