Mike Jackson Promoted to the Role of Senior Vice President of Business Development

Global Data Consultants, LLC (GDC), a leading managed IT solutions and technology provider headquartered in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, announces the promotion of Michael E. Jackson to Senior Vice President of Business Development.
Mike Jackson joined GDC in 2017 as Vice President of Enterprise Solutions. In that role, Mike led the successful evolution and expansion of GDC’s services and market share in the enterprise segment. “Since joining GDC, Mike has demonstrated a superior ability to communicate the value of our product and service offerings to existing and prospective customers” noted Mike Coon, President of GDC. “Mike has also been pivotal in collaborating with our service delivery teams to develop unique solutions that bring incremental value to our clients.”
As SVP of Business Development, Mike will be responsible for growing company revenue with responsibilities that include; constructing a sales and marketing strategy, the development of sales team members, further growth into existing markets, and geographic expansion. Mike will report to the President and the segment sales leaders in Enterprise, SLED, and SMB will report to him.
Prior to joining GDC, Mike had a distinguished career holding senior roles (CEO, COO, VP and director level) in operations, sales, marketing and business development on both a domestic and international stage. Mike holds Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Engineering from the University of Akron and completed an executive management program at Northwestern’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
