GDC’s ownership comprises Gregory D. Courtney, Founding Partner; Thomas J. Trgovac, General Counsel and Executive Vice President; and Dennis C. Coons, Executive Vice President. Greg Courtney’s background includes a tour of service in the United States Marine Corps. The United States Army commissioned Tom Trgovac, and he later served as a JAG officer in Washington D.C. Greg Courtney and Tom Trgovac both received honorable discharges for their military service.
Greg Courtney is the Founding Partner of GDC. After completing a tour of duty and receiving an honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corps, he began his civilian career in IT consulting as an application developer. After several years of developing a customer focused approach to IT services, Greg formed GDC in 1995 to focus on assisting other organizations with their software development needs. He has been instrumental in the vision and execution of the company’s business growth strategy.
Tom Trgovac is the Executive Vice President and General Counsel of GDC. Following law school, Tom joined the United States Army Judge Advocate General’s Corp (JAGC) and was commissioned as a US Army JAG Officer. Tom served on Active Duty from 1990 to 1995 and with the U.S. Army Reserve from 1995 to 2001, where he ultimately attained the rank of Major. Tom is a veteran of Operation Desert Shield/Storm and Operation Joint Guard (the 1997 to 1998 NATO Peacekeeping Mission in the Balkans).
